Acceptable Use Policy

This policy keeps the platform fast and safe for everyone on it. Most customers will never come close to breaching it.

1. Scope

This policy applies to every Ayuni Host service and to anyone you allow to use your account, including your clients, staff and developers. You are responsible for their activity as if it were your own.

2. Prohibited content and activity

Anything unlawful in the jurisdictions we operate in: child sexual abuse material, content that incites violence or terrorism, unlawful hate speech, and material that infringes copyright or trademarks.

Fraud and deception: phishing pages, fake shops, counterfeit goods, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, and malware, exploit kits or command-and-control infrastructure.

Attacking others: port scanning, brute-force attempts, denial-of-service traffic, or unauthorised access to any system or network.

3. Fair use of resources

Shared plans run on shared machines. Sustained use that degrades performance for neighbours — runaway processes, unbounded crawlers, cryptocurrency mining, or using hosting purely as bulk file or backup storage — is not permitted.

If your site outgrows its plan we contact you first and help you move to cloud or VPS rather than simply switching it off.

4. Email and messaging

Do not send unsolicited bulk email from our platform, or host the landing pages for mail sent elsewhere. Mailing lists must be opt-in, with a working unsubscribe link and evidence of consent.

Do not forge headers or sender addresses, and keep authentication records such as SPF, DKIM and DMARC in place for domains you send from.

5. Security of your account

Keep software, plugins and themes updated, use strong unique credentials, and enable the security features included with your plan. Compromised sites are the most common source of platform-wide abuse.

Tell us promptly if you suspect your account or a site on it has been compromised so we can help you contain it.

6. Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse to our support team with the URL or IP address, timestamps and any evidence you hold. Reports are reviewed by a human and we act on verified findings.

7. Enforcement

Where we can, we contact you first and give you a reasonable window to fix the problem. Serious cases — active attacks, illegal content, or activity that threatens the platform — may be suspended immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.

Repeated or deliberate breaches may result in termination without refund. You can appeal any action by opening a ticket.
